Frequently Asked Questions

  • Our workshop is delivered using the RO-DBT (Radically- Open Dialectical Behaviour Therapy) framework. This approach focuses on enhancing openness, flexibility, and social connectedness. It supports individuals in developing emotional awareness, reducing overcontrol, and fostering authentic interpersonal relationships. This is NOT about changing who you are to fit society, but rather, finding ways to connect authentically.

  • The workshop will run for 6 weeks (2 × 3 week blocks) and each session will cover topics such as authentic communication, enhancing openness, and gently exploring functions of overcontrol. You do not need to prepare for the sessions as they will be guided by the facilitators. There will be a mix of discussions, activities, and media to suit all neurotypes

  • The total cost is $600 which can be paid upfront. Payment plans can be negotiated upon request.
The fee includes take home materials, administrative fees, catering and the workshop time itself.

  • We welcome all enquiries however we have a strict criteria to ensure a good fit for the workshop and to keep everyone safe. Individuals who are high risk, suicidal, experiencing significant mental health concerns or crisis, or require more individualised therapy, may not be suitable.

  • We understand sharing in front of others can be scary! The nature of this workshop means there will be sharing of experiences and answers encouraged, and participants will likely gain more value from the workshop by contributing. You will not, however, be forced or mandated to share.

  • This workshop is specifically designed for neurodivergent women, recognising that their experiences, challenges, and strengths are often underrepresented or misunderstood in more generalised settings. By creating a space tailored to neurodivergent women, we aim to provide a supportive environment where participants can feel seen, understood, and safe to engage authentically.

At the same time, we are committed to diversity and inclusion. We acknowledge that neurodivergence and womanhood intersect with a wide range of identities, including culture, race, sexuality, gender diversity, and lived experience. We strive to foster an inclusive space that respects and values these differences, and we welcome individuals who feel aligned with this focus, including those with diverse gender identities who resonate with the lived experience of neurodivergent women.

Our intention is to balance a targeted, affirming space with a broader commitment to equity, respect, and belonging for all participants.

  • All you need to do is complete the intake forms and show up on the day! Feel free to bring your own water, however all materials will be provided, alongside some light snacks and beverages.
